Yule 2006
Yule 2006 was a wonderful celebration hosted by Angie, Mike and Al. Prior to the public celebration a few of us went to a local tree farm to pick a yule tree that we donated to the Unitarian Universalist Church. Once the right tree was found we blessed it and added personal blessings to it by tieing them to the tree. We created a small ritual before cutting so that the life that the tree gave us was honored prior. Two of the QOHC kids took an adventurours ride down the hill in the wagon we hauled the tree in. Once we got back we prepared for the ritual. Members and guests arrived and we created sacred space and decorated the tree, were entertained by a Holiday puppet show that Angie, Mike and Al performed and then we took everything outside around the fire.
